Dyffryn Goluch (Anglice Vale of Worship) a good house modern built in a fine little vale the gentle rising hills prettily chequer'd with woods, in the fields adjacent are two very large Cistfaens [kistvaen] and may be reckoned amongst the noblest of Druidical antiquities in this Island this vale was formerly famous for orchards & cyder and there are in it still several good orchards. The pretty village of Dyffryn stands a little southward of Mr Price's seat, and is a good addition to the prospect. (NLW 21413E, rhif 7)
